Prie Baltijos kelio ąžuoliuko to meto atmintimi pasidalyta su jaunimu (4682)

Rugpjūčio 23-ioji – Europos diena stalinizmo ir nacizmo aukoms atminti, Baltijos kelio diena. Prie Baltijos kelio ąžuoliuko Birutės gatvėje susirinkę alytiškiai šią dieną paminėjo pilietiškomis dainomis, tylos minute bei bičiulišku rankų susikibimu. „Jausmai širdyje kaip ir tąkart, stovint Baltijos kelyje“, – sakė ne vienas šiandien jau garbaus amžiaus žmogus. Juk šiandieną nuo tų įvykių skiria 29 metai.

Renginys prasidėjo, pasak jaunimo, užkabinančia Sauliaus Mykolaičio daina „Matrica“, kurią atliko alytiškių pamiltas gitaristas Uosis Galkevičius. Keletą patriotiškų dainų padainavo Aistė Rocevičiūtė. Abu atlikėjai – Alytaus jaunimo centro vokalinės studijos „Bel Canto“ nariai. Šokių studijos „Alemana“ šokėjos pradžiugino Lilijos Bernatavičienės menine kompozicija „Bunda jau Baltija“.

Beveik prieš tris dešimtmečius vykusiame istoriniame, tris šalis sujungusiame įvykyje dalyvavusiesiems nereikia priminti jo prasmės ir svarbos, jie atviravo, kad iki šiandienos tą vienybės jausmą jaučia savo širdyse.

Jaunimui, kurio prie Baltijos kelio ąžuoliuko buvo dauguma, pateiktas trumpas naratyvas. Jis šiuos stebino faktu, kaip dar be mobiliosios įrangos, 1989-aisiais, buvo įmanoma taip viską sustyguoti trims šalims, kad lygiai 19 valandą jų žmonės išsirikiuoti į 595 kilometrų grandinę. Vien lietuvių nuo Vilniaus iki Latvijos sienos sustojo apie milijoną.

„Tiems, kurie tai praėjo ir matė, kas vyko, oda šurpuliukais eina iki dabar. Buvo tokia euforija, tokia didybė. Dėkoju likimui, kad man tai teko matyti“, – sveikindamas susirinkusiuosius atviravo Alytaus miesto meras Vytautas Grigaravičius.

Savais tos dienos prisiminimais dar iš mokyklinio suolo pasidalijo Seimo narys Robertas Šarknickas. Jis teigė, kad tokios datos primena, kokie mes turime būti.

Aktyvus alytiškis Rimantas Liegus, tuomet išsiskyręs pilietiška veikla, savo kalboje akcentavo, kad mums ima trūkti vienybės. Baltijos kelyje būta milijono, o dabar mes milijoną tautiečių praradome.

„Pagarba tiems pedagogams, kurie į šį renginį atvedė vaikus, jaunimą“, – dėkojo R.Liegus.

Iš tiesų jaunimo įsitraukimas ramino senjorus, Alytus ne be patriotiškų žmonių. Praeitis paklojo tvirtą kelią ateičiai ir smagu vyresniesiems, kad jaunimas atsakingai eina tuo keliu.

Visus dalyvius savo darbo apyrankėmis, kuriose įpinta trijų Baltijos šalių vėliavų spalvos, apdalijo Alytaus nevyriausybinių organizacijų savanoriai.
